Last weekend was indeed a very busy and fun weekend. We had shows at the “A Magical Christmas Market” at elegant Suffolk House and “Coffee Obsession” at Straits Quay back to back!

Lots of vendors showcase their wares at the Christmas market event and many participants and customers were generous with their purchases as part of the sales proceeds will go to various charities all over Penang. This shows how supportive Penangite are when comes to giving and sharing to those that really needs it. Our range of pure and natural essential oils and scrubs was some of the bestseller during the event, and some of our regular range of handmade soaps were sold out as well! We are very grateful as friends and families drop by to show their support, and we get to meet new friends and talk to the many wonderful people that attended the event. My lovely seven years old niece even became my little helper at our booth, taking care and counting the sales coupons. I can’t help but to buy some cute gifts and yummy Christmas cakes and cookies as well! In fact, my little girl really love the cute smoking dress that I bought for her and insists on wearing it while we were having our dinner 😀

Next was the Coffee Obsession event was indeed unique and special event organized by Cofee Story as it only showcases all the things that has to do the with “black gold”. We were there of course to showcase our coffee related products, as well as to demonstrate how to make our Minty Espresso handmade soap to the public. I also manage to sit in and listen to the health talk about coffee by beautiful Gina, owner and pharmacist at City Wellness. Her talk was so informative and covers both the good and bad aspect of consuming coffee. Her talk will be covered in the next release of Cofee Story magazine so keep a lookout for it!
